Solution 1

There is no such thing as "jQuery file" and there is nothing to talk about.

jQuery is just one of the JavaScript library. You write the code in Visual Studio as you usually write HTML or JavaScript code (HTML files, *.js files), by typing code. You can even debug it. For examples, please see:[^],[^],[^] (start with this one).

Actually, each API help page comes with some example; and you will find a plenty of complete examples.

You would probably like to have a look at: D3.js crash course - Part2[^]

Combines ASP.Net, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, with an Ajax enabled WCF service and D3.js.
