hi,


i am creating a website for multiple user like admin , staff, visitors, etc, and i wants to implement membership and authorization in my website , i don't wants to use default asp.net membership provider and it database ASPNETDB , i have created my own database in sql server 2008 R2, i wants to use my "users" table to manage that, plz let me know that how can i do that

(i am new that's why i am asking.) plz help me

It's really pretty simple: MSDN: Implementing a membership provider[^]
   
I would suggest you to go through the great article - ASP.NET authentication and authorization[^] and learn all the concepts.

Then you will able to use the default Asp.Net Membership.

For setting up the database for that, follow the steps provided in the article or implement the quick solution[^] to do it directly from Visual Studio.
