This is not a good question - we cannot work out from that little what you are trying to do.
Remember that we can't see your screen, access your HDD, or read your mind.
Replacing a string in C# is easy - just set the Text property, so that can't be what you want to do or you wouldn;t have a problem...
Use the "Improve question" widget to edit your question and provide better information.

Your question is very unclear to understand your requirement.But if i can understand it clearly you need something like this..
string s1 = "This is an example";
textBox1.Text = s1.Replace("an","a testing");

If it is not your requirement then clear it more here..
