VB6 MsgBox not working with ASP.NET

Hi,
i am using vb6 application dll in my web application. in the vb6 application there are many Msgbox alerts are available. when i debug my web application i got the alerts from the dll.
when i configure it in the iis and browse no msgbox alerts are coming.where is the issue?

The issue is that you are trying to use a messagebox in a web application.

No i am not trying to use messagebox in web app, the vb6 dll is displaying some message using msgbox..i want my application to display the same message in the browser

Yes you are. How, exactly is the VB6 MsgBox function somehow different that showing a message box?

Solution 1

You cannot use CodeBehind (like C#, VB) in a browser.

Browsers can display messages using Javascript.
If you want to support a website, I'd say you definitely have to learn some Javascript...
