You can use update panel and use Ajax and place the contorl in that update pannel your problem will be resolved.

this answer i got for,
I am having two combobox one which retrieves data(list of countries) from database. based on this selection list of states should b displayed in other. i had set autopostback to true which is working fine. But the problem is that every time page reloads when someone selects country. i had tried setting autopostback false , bt it does not generate event so not wrking. Plz tell me hw could achieve the task wthout reloading the page with a sample code.

i dont know anything on ajax..
will it work for asp.net 2.0
plz help me with some source..
