WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO LEARN JAVA ???

The Best way learn any thing is Read About it and then apply it without delay,start from easy and go through hard. U should start "Complete Reference to Java" a very good book

0. Java is case sensitive so loose the caps lock.
1. From google [other search engines are available; for example bing] search for "java beginner tutorial"
2. Read, try, learn.
3. Repeat step 2 until you have mastered the language to the point of being able to code with your eyes shut.

Jump into a pile of Java books and hope that some of the knowledge in the books magically is transferred into your brain.

If u have any prior programming language as in c,c++ and love to make good conversation with ur friend into programming conversation then my friend u can easily learn java.... :laugh:

if u ask me like the best way to learn java is to go through some good books of java like Programming with Java by balagurusamy, another option would be head first start java which is again a beautifully written book which will explain u all the topics in java, i would not suggest u to go for PDF files or online java tutorial as if u sit for quite a long period of time then my friend it may affect ur precious eyes else u can copy paste the stuff online and take a print of it.

Passion for learning JAVA is the key for learning JAVA first get ur OOPS logic clear and then JAVA is all yours,JAVA is one of the most beautiful language ever and u will find that its quite fun and easy to code in JAVA...
