How can I create a fixed navigation that sits on top of a scrolling image background?

I'm trying to create a portfolio site for myself, where my logo and nav stay in place, but all my work is shown across the entire web page. When you scroll down, the logo and nav stay in place, but you scroll through the images.

Solution 1

Without wishing to belabour the bleeding obvious have you had a look to see how they've done it? A quick right-click and view source should provide a view on the css/styles they have employed to display the page. Don't steal what they've done but learn from it.
