I have SQL Server 2005 (that has no Northwind database), so I tried to attach it myself after downloading from the net, but it gives me an error while I attach the Northwind database. I posted my problem on VB forums and Googled too but did not get the replies/solution yet. You can see the image of Error here.

Thanks!

OK the user account that SQL Server is using does not have access to the folder that you have the sample database file in.

By default, SQL Server uses an account called "NETWORK SERVICE" if this is the case for your install, then this account needs access to the folder that has the database files OR place the database files into the default data directory for SQL Server.
