Hi every one,
I tried to decode MTS file as mpeg2 transport stream to extract audio information like audio codec, audio channel but I can't.
From here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MPEG_transport_stream, I read each byte and get all packet data such as: PID, Adaptation field, payload data but I still cannot find out audio information.
I can do with Mpeg program stream because it has some packet contains audio information but it doesn't work on Mpeg transport stream
I know some open source like: http://www.ffmpeg.org/ can extract all but, it's too big and i don't want to use it.
So anyone know about that, please help me?

Well, you can use the source code of ffmpeg or libav to see how it works. I don't think you can find better source of information in the form of the code, even though this code is notoriously complex and even hard to build...
