first have you checked that the web.config is there??
secondly have you used mvc app on your current iis before and have it work.
if you are doing first time you may need to do
aspnet_regiis -i
from inside your
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319
but for you current version of .net
