How to send multiple mail asynchronously

I need to send multiple mail to list of users asynchronously and while sending the mail user can able to access other functionality. I try it for single mail it works but I am unable to send multiple mails..
Please Help...........

It's not clear how sending several mails differs from sending just one. I suspect you did not really succeed in sending one in parallel, you might think so because it was fast enough, if this is just one...
