How to develop a Kiosk application

I want to develop a application for website and also for a kiosk machine. both should communicate..It is mainly for booking tickets and that kind of payment gateway options..Actually this s the first time i am getting this type of task. I don't know where to start..I know about the kiosk machine, but how to implement with asp.net.Please help me to get a step by step procedure of Kiosk development.
