Hi,

In my application to execute stored procedure it is taking 2minutes time,i want to reduce the time.is there any possibility to do that.

Run sql profiler and then tuning advisor.

There is not enough information to answer this question. Please, provide more details, for example: does SQL Server is placed in LAN or WAN?, how many users?, etc.

Solution 1

Some stored procedures just take a lot of time. You need find out what part of the SP is slow. An SQL Profiler will help you pinpoint the problem. That's the only way to find out where to start with your performance gain but again... Somtimes everything is just right and the process just takes some time.
