Was that so difficult to just read what Ajax is?

This is not even that you can or can not: the whole notion of Ajax in WPF is nothing but absurd, the expression which makes no sense. Ajax is related to Javascript, nothing else. Read about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ajax_%28programming%29[^].

Besides, you never need anything like Ajax in any .NET code, because everything you could do with Ajax you can do much better with the class System.Net.HttpWebRequest:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.httpwebrequest.aspx[^].

No.

You can't.

AJAX is Javascript based and so needs a Javascript host (e.g. a web browser)

These are two different technologies, but WPF/E[^] makes it possible.

Not sure of its use, but found while searching.
Refer MSDN answer- Re: Please give me some examples to use AJAX with WPF[^].
