Running a google search and retrieving result on java gui application

I want to make a simple java gui application to use google dictionary. That is search for the word on google and retrieve result and print it on the textarea. That result of the dictionary search , not search result pages. How do I go about connecting to internet and getting the result? Can someone share a tutorial or link please?
