Hi all. Good work here all the time.

I am looking to find out how I can create local pop3 email account from within an aspx.page by having the aspx page access the pop3 server and set up the user account.

I use VB.net Visual Studio 2008 at this time. I run .net 2.0 through 4.1 on my windows 2003 server. I do the coding from VS2008 on my windows 7 ultimate system and just publish the site to the W2003 server. So there is pop3 setup on my local computer.

I have been looking for some code to get this done.

I have not found a COM to use within VS2008 yet that lets me access a pop3 server. All help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Rick

you are welcome,

On the other hand and for future questions:
Please don't post solutions to chat with people asking or answering. The messages are not always sorted by date, so it can be a bit difficult to follow them correctly.
The best option is to use the "Have a question or comment?" (or the tiny "reply" on another comment). Another advantage is, that the person you write to will get a notification, otherwise it could be that he/she doesn't see your additional message.
