what is pfx file in vb.net

hello
i download a sample code and there i can't run it (and this does not matter) and there i see pfx file in the solution explorer . what is it ? is it used for security purpose.

somebody will explain how to add it in our project and make use of it ?

Google is your friend: Be nice and visit him often. He can answer questions a lot more quickly than posting them here...

A very quick search for "pfx file" gave over half a million hits: Google[^]
The top hit was MSDN: Personal Information Exchange (.pfx) Files[^]

In future, please try to do at least basic research yourself, and not waste your time or ours.
