Error while connecting to POP3 server

Hi,
Good morning to all.
I created a project on mail server.but an error occurred while connecting to POP3 server.

Error Message :
Unable to contact the pop3 server or an invalid response was received .Missing a positive report from the pop3 server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What are you using to talk to the server? What command are you sending and what is the response? Could you show us some code?

Also, POP3 is a text protocol, so you can test sending commands using telnet on port 110. From a command prompt, type:

telnet <yourserver> 110
