Hi,

I have a server with windows server 2008 r2 installed where i have my public IP XX.XX.XXX.XX and private IP address.

I am trying to access the public IP address remotely on a computer through a web browser and this is the error message:

403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

When accessing the public IP address through a web browser on the server i am required to provide authenticity.

Could someone please help me?

Set the Application Pool Identities with your credential as explained here on server.
