How do I set windows to show the "File Version" attribute by default.
I have many folders containing dll files that I manage, and new folders of projects are constantly being created.

I don't want to edit each one to show the "File Version" attribute.
Is there a way to set the folder option to show it by default?

Thanks, H

Not clear. Show where? What you code is doing, so it needs to show the DLL? why?

Yes there is.
Instructions from MS[^] - look for the heading "To apply the current view setting to other folders"

If you want to do something fancy have a look at this article http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/cc188741.aspx[^]

Nice & simple one. I didn't think they have that option.
Turns out to be a good question too :)
