Simply save some video in one folder and based on file name from sql and get that same video file form folder and play it is not good idea,Try to save video file sql server itslef.Sometime files is delete from that folder,so best way is store video file in sql server with detail,so only u can retrieve data with video file name ,and convert to vedio and play it ,if user click file name in grid view (table format)

i will try this but pls tell me how much maximum size of video store in sql server ??
i tried also that you are said i can storw only 2 mb video in the server no more than 2 mb size store
how to store 1/2 gb video file store in the db ???

but i want to do retrive data from the table and again retrive data from the folder as data appropriate retriving database
i.e data retrive from the table is give in the input in the other query that query is such as retrive data from the folder

your question is not clear,u ask like how to retrive data form sql server and show in page as table format,using dataview or gridview can show like table format,but what u say now need to retrieve form folder ,what is it folder ? r u going to get any file or image form folder based on file name in sql server ? first u try and post ur code upto what u did,simply u ask retrieve form sql server then again ask also retrieve form folder.

ya i completed retrive data from sql .
i have one video folder and this folder all video file that all video file i want display on the web page such as a u tube unser stand or not ???

u r design for website right ? ur folder is inside root folder (i mean in iis inside ur website folder correct ?) if u retrieve form local drive its working in development machine,so better to convert ur video files into binary and save in sql server itself,i mean in which table retrieve data in that table,so it easy to retrieve data and video according with detail that one u ask in ur first question. In grid view if u click name of video then get binay from sql and convert into video and play it.
