Automatic restart of workflow on rejection of document by approver

There is manual start option in designer workflow associated with document library.
Once approver rejects the document, owner will need to edit and restart the workflow manually. I want the workflow in Progress mode after rejection. why owner will start work twice for the same document? and when user start old workflow history gets deleted.

please help!!
