Just for the sake of clarification, could the installer for IE9 include .Net Framework 4? If IE9 is written using .Net Framework 4 could the installer include .Net Framework 4?

No version of Internet Explorer includes any version of the .NET framework.

What?

No, not at al !!! IE is a browser, why it would include .NET Framework. I guess you are confused. Neither IE nor any other browser include that and why they would include?

Bowsers only understand HTML and client side scripting languages, nothing other than that.

My boss was thinking that it did and asked me to verify. I'm guessing that he was thinking that the install for IE9 could include it if the browser itself was written using .Net framework 4.
