Hi,

I am getting a connection timeout error for a scheduled task for sometimes in sql server 2008 r2 for an exe which was build in Visual Studio 2010. When I click the task schedular run button manually, it works fine everytime. Here is the error log that was getting recorded frequently and not all the times. Can any one suggest on this what could be happening and how to resolve it?

Login failed for user 'sa'.SQL Server could not be connected
Connection Timeout Expired. The timeout period elapsed during the post-login phase. The connection could have timed out while waiting for server to complete the login process and respond; Or it could have timed out while attempting to create multiple active connections. The duration spent while attempting to connect to this server was - [Pre-Login] initialization=4; handshake=7; [Login] initialization=0; authentication=0; [Post-Login] complete=14001;
