which language should I choose to develop program

Hi friends,
I want to develop a program for Windows.This program needs a user interface.In addition,the program needs to collect datas from machines and deal with them in SQL.So I need to make a choice to choose C++ or C# to develop the program.
Also,I want to know the prospect of C++,C# and Java.
Is there another popular language for me to study at my spare time ?

I think C# is the best candidate for your program.

While all of them have strong prospects, in my opinion, C++ is used more specialized scenarios.

Instead of learning 'another popular one', I would suggest you to study a functional language, like for instance Haskell. It could give you a new point of view.
