How to capture picture from any webcam using .net?

How to capture a picture using web cam of any model irrespective of their manufacturer using .NET languages such as C#.NET or VB.NET. I tried capturing image using WIA Scripting and it works well only for the devices it supports.
For Eg
I am using a logitect model where my program is working fine but on the other hand i am using HP 1300 where it fails to work. So can any one guide me to develop a program that works for each web cam irrespective of the model.
