what is difference between com dll and mfc dll?
Sergey Alexandrovich Kryukov 24-Sep-14 10:09am
And what do you mean by "MFC DLL", exactly? :-)

Please see my comment to the question. But my question was rather rhetorical.

Most of the questions about "difference", including this one, make no sense. How would you define "difference"?

Even if you asked "what is the difference between a tiger and a lion?", it would not be really answerable. But your question sounds like a more apparent absurd, like in "what is the difference between a mummal and a cat?". The difference between whole and part cannot be discussed in any reasonable way.

DLL is just a DLL; its code can have anything.

The documentation helps: "Creating an MFC DLL Project" at MSDN[^].
