Hi I want to select a folder contains lots of file and count all files and files path store in ms access database.

and all text files contain a path just like:- F:\Projects\abcdef0001.bdf many times and also contain other word so i want to count .bdf in one files and also other files and save in ms access database.

Please help me i'm new.......

Well then DirectoryInfo and FileInfo classes would be of interest to you.

Well this is not a write code to order drive through window. You are the one that wants this program, why don't you try it first and see if you can do it yourself? What sort of specific help do you need? We can't teach you programming in a forum posting, you have to do some of this yourself and designing your entire program for you is too much.

HiMy problem is:- I have open file dialog and select multiple files and read one by one files and search word "this word 'abc'" and count word after then store in ms access table.

OK, you described what you have. You opened the filedialog, selected files, read them and searched them. Finally you saved the result of the search into the database.

What in all of this is your problem? At which point(s) something doesn't work? What error do you get? What have you tried?

try googling. There is a file dialog control you can drag and drop assuming you are using winforms. It handles selecting multiple files, I believe it puts the file names in a string array. If you've done coding for the previous question, this shouldn't be any more difficult.
