How to hide the tool panel on the left in RadImageEditor?

You can add a ZoomController to your view and bind it to the RadImageEditor in it to allow zoom in/out functionality like the one in RadImageEditorUI.

Alternatively, you can adopt implicit styles in your application and modify the default style of RadImageEditorUI to fit your needs.
