I want to protect my c# app. I decided to convert il that is produced in my assembly with visual studio 2012 to binary.i found that mono has aot compile that do that convertion . but intel platform in not supported yet.
what should I do? I don't want to use obfuscation for protection.

when we compile .net program with mono or visual studio it convert it to il that can be cracked very easy. and there are many tools for crack these apps.

You could use C++ and build directly into binary. As long as you use .NET there isn't much you can do. You could obfuscate.

Or you could try this solution[^]

Note that it isn't absolute protection, but definitely makes it harder to reverse engineer your code.

If this helps please take time to accept the solution. Thank you.

Thanks, I read it recently and thought it a good (and fairly easy) implementation.
