How to use Microsoft's Application Verifier

With Application Verifier[^] I added an executable and tested that one. After that I opened the logs (Ctrl+L). I opened the logs with Excel, but not able to understand anything from it. I have seen some where that we should do something with WinDbg, but I don't know how to use that with App Verifier.

Could someone tell me how to use it so that I can read the logs?
