Is it giving any error? Have you tried finding out the issue by putting a breakpoint and tried debugging?
Make sure that you have set EmployeeId to be auto-incremented.

Yes Dear ,i tried Every thing ,to debug codebehind file the App and the proper values are poped up when i hover the mouse pointer over them, then i thought to introduce an error in the insert statement in the html of the SqlDataSource control ,and there where no errors thrown .that means the insert statement of the sqlDatasource control is not working as expected.i introduced the same error in the delete and update, they throw errors that means they r being executed.now my worries r how to correct the insert statement
