I want to develop a web application which is a small sort of an ERP. There will also be a small portion of Document Management.

What should be the architecture of application? Should I go for MVC or adopt other architecture.

Thanks in advance.

The architecture is not "answered" or "should be". It is built, iteratively, a a part of software development work. Even if you could help you with architecture, it would only be possible if you provided much more detailed requirements. But if you do, it can easily go well beyond the format of the forum. So, you probably get help if you focus on just few key aspects. And you need to basically choose the platform, technologies to be used, languages...

I want to use SQL Server 2012 as Database and .Net (C# or VB.NET).

MVC or MVP is your best bet however it entirely depends on your requirement and available infrastructure
