Error in accessing IIS hosted website over LAN..

Hello Guys..

Question: I have 2 Machines Machine A and Machine B. I hosted my testWebsite.local on Machine A and is working fine there but I m not getting how to access same website from Machine B.
I followed many step to solve this problem but still I am not understanding where is the problem. I am new to this IIS and all..

1) I have installed IIS on Machine B also but is it necessary to install on Machine B?
2) Do I need to make any specific changes in Machine B?

I reviewed on some sites they say Windows Firewall setting etc.

Please help me ASAP..

Basically, all you need is the correct address...something like http://machineA/MySite...
What address did you used? What is the error you got?

In Machine A I used http://192.168.1.23/ and it working fine there but when same IP address I m using in Machine B it's saying "This webpage is not available".

Yes, try disabling firewall in hosted machine. If it works then you need to create a firewall rule for it.

create a WORKGROUP and add both systems in that WORKGROUP....

After disabling firewall of hosted machine it got solved.
