Perl executable to perl source code

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to check if there is any way-out that we can decompile the perl executable generated from "Perl2exe" back to its original source code.

Look forward to hear your thoughts.

Every single help/hint is appreciable.

The above link states that this is possible but I got struct between the binary digits, my head got heated.

It would probably be quicker to re-write your script.

I was coded by me many years ago and I have tried to re-write the code but there are some functions which I need to re-use, that is the reason I am looking for some decompiler.

Interpreting the result of decompilation can be harder then writing the code from scratch.
Face is: if you compiled code and removed the source code, it is lost.
