Visual studio 2010 shell doesnot make new projects

Assalam o aliakum sir, i want to know that i installed Visual studio 2010 shell, it runs the project but doesnot make new project. It said No template (As my project is in ASP.NET) as i click onit. My system is 32bit,window 7 and processor 2gb. Please guide me.

Alaikum assalam,
Let me assure you that it does. From your question, it's hard to see how exactly you could screw it up. I also don't know what version/edition/flavor of VS you use. Could it be some limited edition? Why not using Community Edition VS 2013?

If you are truly using Visual Studio 2010 Shell, it does not come with any project templates. If you want project templates, you will need to install either an edition of Visual Studio 2010 Express, Visual Studio 2010 Professional, Visual Studio 2010 Premium, or Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate.
