How Can I Consume A Wcf Rest Seervice In Wondows Phone

I have a windows universal app that i want to connect to sql server using the wcf rest service i created,i was able to consume it for the big windows app using the add service reference method but was unable to do the same thing for windows phone app.How can i go about it?
