If so, I'm an adrenaline junkie. We had a much cooler than normal evening today so I went out and cut the whole yard (walking mower) and I'm going to seriously regret it tomorrow.

As we have acquired a new Labrador puppy we get to take her for a walk at least once a day, I'm counting on her costing me 20kg over the next couple of years. Oh yeah and putting a bit of muscle on the arm, bitch pulls like a train.

I have a Dogo Argentino... I thought my German Shepard and my Rottweiler pulled like trains, she changed my mind.
I once leashed her to a massive concrete block in the courtyard, she moved that thing around as if it wasn't there... And I'm talking about 200-300 lbs of concrete block.

Bloody hell I would not compare one of those to a Labrador puppy - ever. The dammed beast would probably eat her.

Well, Dogos are docile and quiet, very patient dogs. She's far less dangerous than my old german shepard.
For axample one day she and my other dog, a Maremma Sheepdog, ran off and enterd another person home... the homeowner had no problems in getting close and leashing the Dogo Argentino in a safe place, while he had to close the Sheepdog in a room because she was angry and dangerous.
It is still possible it eats some other dog, most probably by mistake while playing though. They have a mouth so big it looks straight out a horror movie - coupled with the attitude of a playful Cocker.

Wish it was that easy! Our border collie takes me for an hour's walk per day (even though she's 17, going on 18), and I haven't seen too much weight dropping off!
But it's absolutely the best way to start the day - most of the year, I walk her before going to work, and it definitely helps get me going...

We have not had any pets for over 20 years, traveling and in Singapore, I had forgotten just how much fun pets are, especially puppies.
I had also forgotten how fast they grow.

I have to exercise daily - I am a rancher and the herd has to be looked after daily. That includes feeding, watering and looking for signs of disease and injury. The dogs that guard the herd must be cared for, also. All of this work is physical - that means EXERCISE, exercise and more exercise.

And always I end up being mocked for my planning, and no execution of it.
It has been almost a year that I have been planning with my friends that I will join them for gym, or that I have been asking for suggestions for home-based exercises (he did suggest me a couple of apps too!), and here I am with my Thor-worthy body (yeah, an Endgame reference)!

When I was still in school I used to cycle A LOT.
I used to take the bike to work too...
Unfortunately, my work is now too far to ride by bike so I'm not doing anything anymore.
I tried running and fitness, but all it did was wear me out and make me stressed out.
I've never encountered the "runner's high" and doing exercise I don't like after a hard day of work isn't making me happier.
After a while my mom told me to quit as I wasn't getting any nicer, like a smoker who quit smoking
I've yet to find any exercise I do like.
Any group activity is out of the question by default.
I try to take the bike where I can and I take a good long walk once a week.

It would be so good to do more and more, but life always gets in the way. It's just a matter of scheduling priorities. Stay away from TV, and if you have a desk job (as most S/W developers do), take frequent walk breaks.

I'm a keen cyclist and cycle at the weekends as well as two or three times in the week. I'm fortunate enough to live close enough to my work that I frequently commute to work by bike too.

Did you ever see history portrayed as an old man with a wise brow and pulseless heart, weighing all things in the balance of reason?
Is not rather the genius of history like an eternal, imploring maiden, full of fire, with a burning heart and flaming soul, humanly warm and humanly beautiful?

I had been doing a couple to three times a week on an excercize bike.
Then, with a lingering bout afflictions, from a very nasty bang in the rib cage to a lingering array of mute nostril agonies, the abandoned efforts continued.
But, all seems well - and thus re-initiating the Before state as the After state looks both promising and imminent.
