The questions are definitely loaded, assuming you've used Java exclusively.
I've done a little Java, but can't find a context to answer that way...

Without additional option (e.g., "I develop exclusively using languages other than Java"), the poll seems to assume that only Java programmers are developers... at least the alternatives presented assume you have something to do with Java, even if you are moving away from it, or you aren't a developer. Fascinating.

While I carry a J2SE certification, I haven't written a single Java applet, servlet, Lotus Notes/Domino agent, or any other piece of java code in over 3 years. I used to wite Java almost exclusively for the Domino platform. The company I worked for did a lot of Lotus stuff and I and another developer tag-teamed a lot with him working on the forms and LotusScript front end stuff while I worte the back end agents in Java.

Earlier i was a java developer but i changed my development and shifted to .net platform.

Me too,
I too changed from java to .net, just bcos of FT,
screw FT(Financial Technologies).
They hired me on java, gave work on .Net
Now I m moving on Microsoft Platform, but would always contribe to Open Source as and when possible!
