A game written in C# Windows Form

I'm currently a student studying computer science at university. In my spare time, I like to write many games on Windows Form, XNA, Unity, etc. I am releasing a small game called Break-The-Breaks which other developers can continue developing further or get an idea of how I developed it.

Using the Code

This is a nice and simple game. There are a few variables and objects:

private Rectangle[] VectRectangles; // Stores the rectangles
private RectangleShape[] BrickArray; // Stores Microsoft's power pack rectangle shapes
private int speedLeft = 10; // Speed of the ball x
private int speedTop = 50; // Speed of the ball y
private int speedBall = 40; // Speed of the timer interval

Points of Interest

Instead of using standard rectangles, I used Microsoft's PowerPack so I can use different fill styles such as solid, trellis and divot (there are many more to choose from) to represent the rectangle being hit.

  • v.01- v 0.6 - Added Microsoft's PowerPack's rectangles
