I think you folks are about to loose me and many of your other subscribers because of your cluttered newsletter format.

It is wasting my time to have to search through many sub categories of the same topic.

For example a "C" article may be found under "C", Windows Mobile, Databases, Programming Tips, etc. You need to put ALL the "C" STUFF under "C" - period!

In my particular case, I program in MySQL, PHP, HTML, and occasionally Perl. It is a nightmare to find what I may be interested in multiple repeating categories.

I don't care that an article is on your server in "Programming Tips" section. I do care if it is HTML or PHP code.

Thanks, Jan Zumwalt

Go to "My Settings" (dropdown that's under your name at the top right of the screen), choose the Newsletter tab and under "Newsletter topics" enter the topics you're interested in. That will filter the content down to what you wish to see.

"C" stuff should not be under "C", nor should "C#" stuff be under "C#". Those are technologies, not (necessarily) subjects, and any given subject can be implemented in any number of technologies. The alternative is we'd have to have C# desktop, C# web, C# mobile etc and VB desktop, VB mobile etc.

Chris, thank you for sharing this information.

My 5. I would also suggest: write such things to Bugs & Suggestions board:
