Hi All,

I have used this class to perform a operation irrespective of main thread after every 1 second. I have created a separate User control for the same.

That operation involves
1. The database transaction which will get the required values (4 values) from DB.
2. Display the values in respective textboxes.

The form on which above control placed is very complex and uses scanners, PLC's. So my question is will it fail by the increased threads created by above control?

We cannot say if it fails without seeing your code and how it works, and even then it will depend on your environment.

Using threads have known issues like the following which are easy to overcome: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/10349/in-winforms-why-cant-you-update-ui-controls-from-other-threads[^]
