These guys are more dangerous than politicians. Here in TN, they're giving 'breaking' news every day but nothing like below recent news(important for nature) 1) Hydrocarbon project 2) Isha Yoga's .... (& Karunya University's ....). Google for more. Brief snapshot[^]
Already water shortage started some places before summer period. After 50 years, India would be like a desert without enough water. Real estate killed(still killing) Farming, Water, Nature, etc., Our great politicians, media, governments and people helped them to do that.
I quickly searched and understood there's a Hydrocarbon project proposed. Now, I don't pretend to have understood or read the whole thing, but could you please tell me how's that and Isya yoga and Karunya University is related?
but could you please tell me how's that and Isya yoga and Karunya University is related?
Time to time these two things appear & disappear quickly. Reason of appearances was social media & bad personal experience of victims(Search youtube with relevant keywords). Reason of disappearances was MEDIA! Media never cover these news or they overshadow these news by giving more breaking news.
Media don't cover these news because 1) Advertisements (Huge $$$$$) 2) Pressure from both local & national politicians who're followers of those religious leaders
Well, why this news appeared again? Clickety[^] . That's why I used [NoPo] tag in thread title.
Others, just Google for [Any religious leader name] + ' fraud or exposed ' & read/watch articles/videos.
Why pulled Karunya univ. here? On social media/online Isha-Jaggi followers came with that one saying "why don't you ask anything about them?" Similar to political parties' fights. Glad they didn't slap a 'Christian' label on us like 'Anti-Indian'.
One thing I want to know. Why people is following these kind of middlemen(Jaggi, Nithi, Jayan, Rdev, Asaram, Madha, Ma, Prem, Bangaru, Sai, etc., ) when they have so many gods(?). These religious leaders mostly making idiots instead of improving things.
No, I'm not going to do that. There's also a hodgepodge of various links (not to mention an assortment of youtube videos) that I find hard to put together into some sort of context.
It looks to me like you're generally ranting about people blindly following godmen in India, but I could be wrong as you're also linking to a status tweet from Modi, a Google map picture with a University circled, and are accusing the media of something (not sure what it is).
It would help if you could explain in 2 lines about what exactly is it that you're talking about. Something clear like "I feel frustrated because Sasikala wasn't sentenced to death as I believe she carried out the murder of J" or such.
3) Whenever activists/neutrals/public raise questions about them, their followers usually redirects things(Like Jaggi's group pulling Karunya's matter [Remember DMK vs ADMK or BJP vs Cong] ) or come with unnecessary Tags(Like Bhakts come with Anti-Indian Tag to slap on others)
4) There're so much complaints on Isha by victim & family of victims. But nothing got media's spotlight. You could find news on web & videos on youtube.
5) Religious leaders make more $$$$ than anyone in this country without taking any risks. In these places, they use hypnotism(when victim goes for yoga or meditation). Hypnotism helps them to gain so much followers, that's why parents of victims raised complaints against leaders.
N) Godmen > God(?) ?

Nope. Check this for more info about that site & guy. Savukku - Wikipedia[^] He exposed so many things in past. Media never given importance to them. One popular example was Sasikala's success on undertaking Jazz cinemas. All medias wrote about that on last year but this guy exposed that matter a year before. Local media did coverage something like they discovered things by doing some risky detective work which was terrifically funny. https://www.savukkuonline.com/9097/[^] https://www.savukkuonline.com/11931/[^] Smallmom tried to do the same thing on forum mall but his continuous posts & tweets at that time created overwhelming attraction on online so she cancelled that plan.
Really? I don't think so. But BJP always boost all Hindu organisations & leaders. No need foe explanations, self explanatory. But they're doing it hyper level by giving awards. List of Padma Vibhushan award recipients - Wikipedia[^]. Check 'Others' category in the table. This year Jakki & last year Ravi Shankar. Next year hopefully for Baba Ramdev or Asaram Bapu.
The trust vote wasn't done properly, yes. But DMK is trying to do desperate things to appear relevant in the scene.
A day long hunger strike, really? One which starts with a giant portion of starches and meat and curries? That one which causes massive satiety that lasts all day so they could finally go home and chug on more food in the evening? Sure thing.
Do the think tanks at DMK believe that the people of TN are *that* dumb? DMK has been made irrelevant a while ago, and I wonder how long would it take for them to rather realize it.
On a second thought, I never know wtf might happen especially looking at the various dramas that unfolded during the past few months. Stalin might just become the next PM. Who knows?!
He's trying to play what would be literally the oldest trick in the book. I'm sure the money for all this free stuff isn't going to come from his pocket or sasikala's criminally stashed hoard.
More burden for the taxpayers in exchange for being ruled by someone who is a proxy from a group of criminals, who isn't qualified to be on that spot, who wasn't voted to be there for, and who the public want out of there.
I hear in another news that DMK has submitted a letter to the assembly secretary for moving a no-confidence motion against the Speaker.
Coming out and protesting means it would be termed as protest organized by the opposition. The issue is that politicians across all party are not trustworthy and so it would be very dangerous to support someone in mass protest
------------------------------------------ Too much of good is bad,mix some evil in it
I doubt that this could be fixed by a protest. Just what exactly to protest for? Stop the political drama? Ask for a shiny new chief minister?
If anything could be done, that could only be done in an election, and it's going to be a while before we get there.
It's kind of like what's happening in the US now. To quote south park, they know that they now have a "mega douche" for a president, but there's little they could do about it except for chugging along until it will be time to throw him out.
