How silly. One could get such a picture from anywhere. Incomplete solution it is. The complete solution would be:
1. Provide a Rental/Lease/Ownership agreement containing the address for your home.
2. Search that address in maps and attach screenshots clearly showing the Lat-Long for the house.
3. While taking picture ensure that GPS tagging of picture is enabled.
4. Two witnesses clearly visible in the picture along with a declaration that they will be held accountable if the pic was not taken at home.
5. Specification of lock on the door so that the kids and wife can be kept out of the room while working from home.
There you have the complete solution. Please propose this to the respective team. Tell them - Either this or nothing.
I can work from home at my current place. When we ring in to say we are working from home it's generally accepted that this is a code for "I'm too hungover to come into work today, I'm going back to bed and may answer some emails when I wake-up". Nobody expects us to actually work. I'm so going to miss this place.
They're closing UK in March so will be out of work. I use to work flexi hours anyway, so I could take the kids to school, but since theyve announced this I've been turning up when I want. They've got rid of all my Malaysians and English so I'm now in charge of a team based solely in Maexico. And they dont start till 2pm my time, so, in my opinion but not my boses, I dont really need to be here that early.
Last night we had a lock in at the pub, didnt get home till just before 3am. Rolled into work at 11.30am.
Just dont know how I'm going to cope in my next job which is going to expect me in the same time everyday. I haven't even set an alarm clock for 7 years. When people I don't work with ask me what time I start work? They don't believe me when I say an hour after I wake-up. Buts it true.

these atoms that wandered into being me,
appearing to stay together for a reason
that apparently involves genes, and sex,
more than any metaphysical hypothetical:
here it is, a language of all-dried-out
eviscerating the moist wrinkles of love
as it celebrates its own surgical skill
so, what poets and fools get up or down
to, sweeping the reality of atoms under
fantastically patterned rugs of fantasy;
what the frolics of oohs, aahs, and ohs,
that murmuring choirs of flesh on flesh
chant to embellish the primate guttural:
stripped naked's just chemistry dancing
«There is a spectrum, from "clearly desirable behaviour," to "possibly dodgy behavior that still makes some sense," to "clearly undesirable behavior." We try to make the latter into warnings or, better, errors. But stuff that is in the middle category you don’t want to restrict unless there is a clear way to work around it.» Eric Lippert, May 14, 2008
If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.
Reminds me a little bit of when Kurt Vonnegut said that if we could only view each other as walking test-tubes we'd all understand each other a whole lot better. I think it was in Breakfast of Champions.
Today I'm on my home laptop running Windows 10 Anniversary edition. On Edge & Chrome, I cannot watch a preview video on Udemy. I was just watching these the other day. Here's an example, would you mind trying?
You'll see a little video area and a "Preview this course" text and a play button. On both Edge and Chrome I see a brief flicker and then nothing as the window tries to pop up.
Now, I just tried to click the filter buttons on CodeProject.com ([All], [Android], etc) and they will not work either. In both of those browsers. This is very odd.
Anyone else seeing this? In the mean time I'll reboot and see what happens. Then I'll try other browsers too. Thanks for any input.
EDIT 1 Just noticed when I went to restart there seems to be an update wanting to install. I'll install and see what happens.
Edit 2 I just installed FireFox and went to the udemy site and I can play the video. The site looks drastically different in FireFox though. And the filters on the codeProject front page still do not work. Are those broken on the site? Is it the site and not just me? I've used those in the past. (posted using FireFox)
Edit 3 Just noticed that at the top of the firfox page (on udemy.com) there is a little note that "firefox has prevented the outdated plugin "Adobe Flash" from running on https://www.udemy.com". Hmm... maybe this is all a Flash related issue?
Edit 4 Thanks to all who responded. It seems as if the two issues I experienced were both related to the sites themselves. 1. CodeProject's main page filter menus ([All] [Android] [C#] [C++] do not seem to currently work -- do not seem to filter and when you click them they are never set as selected.
2. the udemy video seemed to be failing from the source.
Just checked the filters on CP home page with IE11. Either they don't work, or I don't know what I'm doing...probably the latter. Clicking any filter shows the same content and doesn't seem to be 'remembered' when going back to the home page. All is always selected...maybe that's just the way it works???
Thanks for trying. That is not the way it works actually, because I used that functionality in the past few weeks and it worked. I am an Android dev and normally I can click the Android one and it will stick there and show only most current Android articles until I click another. it will stick there over browser sessions normally which is nice if you read a particular type of article. Thanks,
