Ignoring the issue that President's role is to promote macro-economic benefits instead of spruiking individual companies. Y'know - that little ol' thing called the law (which I understand he's actually not subject to in this case: it's only for government employees. But still )
Up until this point the thread has been exceptionally polite and apolitical.
I prefer to leave this and demonstrate we can actually be grown up and not angry. The thread hasn't blown up (apart from - I hate to say - your series of messages) so let's give everyone the benefit of the doubt instead of assuming the worst.
Not really. If you started to talk about idea of him twitting or his effectiveness or the effectiveness of him according to economy etc. etc. then sure.
But this is about a Bot (which is a really cool programming concept) that is consuming live data and uses a specific twitter feed to determine the best action according to the data and the intent of the tweet.
This has little to do with actual politics as the Bot removes that part of it. The Bot is not a democrat or republican or a conservative or a liberal. The bot determines what is a higher probability of profit according to the data set.
I love it.
Computers have been intelligent for a long time now. It just so happens that the program writers are about as effective as a room full of monkeys trying to crank out a copy of Hamlet.
The interesting thing about software is it can not reproduce, until it can.
