Bought the kids one each for Christmas and one for the Missus for her birthday (Boxing Day) and they are using it to play games (free for the moment), get on the internet, email, Skype, Facebook and the like.
I've just had a look at my money box and see that I can afford one for myself. Before I get one, I thought I'd ask here for other uses I will find for it. Cause I'd only use the internet browsing out of that listed above and I ain't spending that kind of coin on something I have 5 or so other devices I can use use.

Also looking for a protective cover like those rubbery ones that slip onto the cack of your phone for protection. Found this one[^] that I can walk over to the shops and get and seems to be the official Nexus cover. Anything else people can offer as an alternative?

I have a Nexus 7 (no 3G) and I use it mostly for couch-surfing the web, casual email and social networking, and to write on my blog (yes). Also, I read a lot of stuff with Google Reader and Currents. Sometimes I also do basic photo editing with Aviary.
All in all, it's very handy and I use it a lot. Alas, I'm writing this from my desktop PC...
