This morning, I went upstairs and woke the Ickles. They got dressed, made their beds and came down for breakfast. They laid the table, prepared the food and even made my coffee [very nice it was indeed].
Now, do they really need any more training?

Can you pop up to ABZ and sort my 2 ickles out?
Sounds like since I came back offshore yesterday, they kicked off again (particularly the youngest) and the wife is doing her nut in. Fortunately I'm safe for another 13 nights

This is why I didn't take the job. I could just see them kicking off Monday morning knowing I was away. The odd thing is I'm never the one to impose any punishment, that's Mrs Wife's job, but they seem to behave for me. Sometimes.
I'm sure they'll recover and be little tykes this afters.

Do they know how to operate a washing machine or an iron?
Can they get a job and keep you in gin and biscuits?
Until then, the training of your padawans must continue.

Washing is in Mrs Wife's court and I don't know what an iron is; lie, I look after my own shirts the rest is their problem.
As for the rest, is anyone really up to the challenge of keeping me in gin?

So at least your training is complete!
....and apparently so is mine (as I did exactly what you did this and most other mornings).

That's not Trained. There are kids in China who would have made 10 pairs of Nike in the time it took your kids to make you Coffee.

But why would I want 10 pairs of rubber shoes for breakfast?

You obviously never had a decent german breakfast, or you do have an unhealthy obsesison with sweaty rubber, or both.

Of course not, at least for now. Later, though, you may want to teach them to drive, as that is likely to be a useful skill to you when you get older.
