Clive Dunn has died.
The Curse of Dad's Army strikes again.
The curse of making a TV program with a load of really old people in it, and then they died.
Now with added link[^]
Every man can tell how many goats or sheep he possesses, but not how many friends.

So farewell then Clive Dunn,
Corporal Jones in Dad's Army,
"Don't Panic" that was your catchphrase,
"Doomed, Doomed" wasn't,
but it turns out, ultimately you were.

I think the vicar, pike, and pike's mum are still around

Also the ARP Warden hasn't carcked it.

Not Pike's mum, Mrs Fox - a widow that Jones was involved with.

He was relatively young when they were making Dad's Army.
Ah well, soon there will be none left.
The vicar is really old, warden Hodges must be well into his 80's and Pike has had a heart attack.

Bill Pertwee is 86, Frank Williams is 81, and Pamela Cundell is 93.
Ian Lavender is 66, his heart attack was many years ago now. He's also survived cancer. Unfortunately he's still a Villa fan.

Time to panic? No.
Time to give up? Yes. Shutting down.
I just had a long chat with my employees of eight years and past along the new. We are closing shop. While we've had our moments, the last several years have been a steady downward spiral. Between the massive tax burden we're under and trying to compete with low-cost (low-quality) sweat shops over seas (just west of China btw...) there used to be only one remaining incentive for success - to send my kids to college in comfort.
Now - with Obamacare looming and a line that goes 'round the block of 'citizens' with their hands out pleading with the Gov't, "Please give me even more because you all owe me" and a seemingly endless list of "Programs" designed to sponsor the super-lazy - I see no reason to continue trying to succeed.
Thank you Codeproject for giving my crew countless sources of inspiration. I wish you all the very best of luck and success wherever you are able to find it.

Did you even read the message you're replying to? This is an "ageing British actor has died" thread, not a "why democracy sucks" thread.
