Few days ago I was installing a photo printing software (freeware) on my machine and during installation I noticed that it was asking for installing Babylon toolbar (The piece of crap that highjack your search engines in browsers) so I deselected it as I knew how nasty it is to remove later. Even though I asked not to install it it ended up on my system and infected IE/FF/Crome/Registry . Took me a while to get rid of it.
I think the people / company who wrote this piece of crap should be prosecuted. There may be millions of not so savvy users who fall pray to this nasty crapware/hijacker.

Most AV engines flag that as malicious software, with good reason. I have tried Babylon software before, and found it did not work well. I really hate these browser hijackers.
I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.

Can you tell me how, please. It has been bugging me, for the past few weeks.
The master of the art of living makes little distinction between his work and his play, his labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation, his love and his religion. He hardly knows which is which; he simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him he is always doing both.

Check in your Control panel -> Add or remove programs and remove any babylone software (Sometimes it is called with different name so you have to check the whole list and see which one is related to it)
Delete the folder called Babylon XXX from your program files
Find and delete any babylon related files in AppData folder in MyDocuments
Search registry for Babylon entries and delete them.
In your browser see if you can see any babylon entries in Extensions/Plugins and remove them...
It changes your default startup page in browser to its own site so remove them and set to default or whatever you want...
