Might be slight overkill for changing a light-bulb or putting up a shelf...

A dremel would be more than I'd know what to do with. To me, that set looks like it ought to belong to a rocket surgeon.

A man cannot have too many tools.
Tools, as in screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, saws, etc. for those with dirty minds.
I think computer viruses should count as life. I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We've created life in our own image.

You'll spend more time putting the damned things away than you will working with them.
A toolbox with trays usually works the best.

I think my dad has most of these tools. He is a husband so his job roles are:
Fixing the car
General house maintenance, not limited to what the wife(mom) thinks/wants fixing
Welding iron stuff together, must have been a blacksmith in a previous live
Think every man that can hold a tool needs a good tool set

My dad retired from a 40+ year career as an auto mechanic a few years ago. He had to let go of his significantly bigger toolbox (and many, many more tools) for under $15K, as potential takers are very few and far in-between. He figures the whole thing was worth $60-70K (and my dad has a tendancy to underestimate everything), but couldn't keep this massive beast at the house--it took almost as much room as a car.

I had a similar experience when I sold my kit many years ago. Practically gave it away though managed to hang on to my 'favorite' tools. Love to have another one but, sadly, can't afford it and don't have the room. Even if I had the room...
